LANCS Industries of Kirkland, Washington has completed the purchase of the operating assets of BOP Filters/Barrier of Idaho Falls, Idaho, which manufactures flexible high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) grade filter in contamination and particulate control applications for nuclear and pharmaceutical environments.
Paul Pinson of BOP Filters/Barrier first developed the technology and has worked closely with Lancs for several years. Mr. Pinson will remain with the new company as an advisor.
The Bristol Group acted as intermediary on the transaction. "This transaction will be a great benefit for the customers of these HEPA filters as the two companies combine their expertise and resources to provide the best products and services," said Trevin Rasmussen, the principal broker for the Bristol Group.
